“I have a natural ability for Jiu Jitsu, wrestling’s always been my specialty.” said Angus. “But out of my 5 wins – 4 of them are by knockout…I’ve been training Muay Thai for years.”
He’s also won some grappling tournaments too, but prefers to use his wrestling ability to keep his heavy hands working. He knows he has the potential to end the fight at any given moment.
“Striking just seemed to…it overtook everything. I know how to hit really hard, and most of the guys I step in the cage with – they can’t really take it.”
Angus has another fight scheduled just 4 weeks after Saturday’s bout, so he’d be happy to make short work of his opponent Thomas Richardson, who he’s seen fight before.
“I’d like the KO…or just to beat him bloody. He’s not afraid to stand and bang and that’s what I want. That’s my style.”
